Issue: I can’t create a profile!
Status: This is an issue that seems to be coming up a lot recently. It is a user interface issue that we will be addressing in the next update.
The Profiles screen isn’t clear about what a new user needs to do to create a Profile. Hopefully this walk-through will help people get around the problem.
What you need to do the first time you enter the Profiles menu is to click in the Profile name edit box, and then type in your desired profile name:

It’s possible you may not see the customary flashing cursor when typing in the Profile name edit box. Much rarer, but still possible, you may not even see any text!
All of these are known issues, and are mainly the faulty of poor user interface design and the lack of clear instructions on this screen.
We will address all these issues in the next update.

Issue: Rendering with a lot of black/dropped polygons
Status: This appears to be an issue with some integrated video cards, particularly from Intel. We are working on fixing this issue.
Issue: Select Level screen in the demo goes to a blank loading screen after creating a new Profile
Status: This can happen in the demo when you go to the Select Level Menu before creating a Profile, and then attempt to enter game. This issue will be fixed in the next update.
Issue: I want to use the arrow keys to move!
Status: You can! This is not mentioned in the manual/help text anywhere, but the arrow keys can be used instead of WSAD. The manual and help text will be amended in the next update.
Issue: "Invulnerable" zombies. Sometimes after a zombie gets up, it cannot be hit or killed, but can bite and attack.
Status: Fixed in 1.1
Issue: The game crashes loading Level 1!
Status: This was caused by the Ageia PhysX 2.7.3 "small installer", which did not include all components required by most computers. Fixed in 1.11
Issue: The game sometimes crashes loading Level 16!
Status: Fixed in 1.1
Issue: The game sometimes crashes loading Level 25!
Status: Fixed in 1.1
Issue: The helicopter in level 25 doesn’t start up!
Status: Fixed in 1.1. The helicopter rotor wouldn’t start turning if you quit/lost, then restarted Level 25. The countdown did work, it was just the animation that wasn’t restarted. The tail rotor did not have an animation.
Issue: Some of the zombies in Level 25 are steaming!
Status: Fixed in 1.1
